RYP mission statement
To provide a network for young minded professionals in the Richardson community through collaborative partnership opportunities in leadership and business development.
Who are the Richardson Young Professionals?
The Chamber truly does have something for everyone, including the Generation Y employees at your organization. This generation of up-and-coming leaders is changing the way the world does business, but many companies still don’t quite have a grasp on what makes them tick. Peer groups are something they value, and our Richardson Young Professionals (RYP) group is a great way for them to network with like-minded business executives while building relationships that are ultimately good for the bottom line as well.
RYP is a network for young minded professionals in the Richardson community. The group is focused on personal growth, career advancement and service in the Richardson community. RYP gives them a forum to connect with professionals their own age, so they can establish new friendships and new business relationships. Members also have access to professional development workshops, monthly after-hours events and quarterly community service projects.
RYP membership includes entry to 10 after-hours events, two guest passes for any two after-hours events, an invitation to a President’s Club reception, admission to special chamber events and volunteer opportunities. These benefits give them the opportunity to network with peers their own age on both a personal and professional level, while attending other events where they can meet mentors and community leaders.
