After more than 25 years in corporate sales, Stu Schlackman ventured out on his own to form Competitive Excellence, an executive performance coaching firm focusing on coaching and training sales and service teams to turn them into top performers in the areas of selling skills and negotiations. His background includes companies such as Digital Equipment Corporation, EDS and Cap Gemini.
As author of Don’t Just Stand There, Sell Something and Four People You Should Know, Schlackman imparts wisdom, technique, and practical advice for corporate executives, sales professionals, corporate trainers, and others who have the desire to compete and win in business and life.
Schlackman holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Master of Business Administration from Kennedy Western University. He is involved in teaching and mentoring in the Business division of Dallas Christian College, has built on online Sales management course for UTD’s EMBA program and is on the Board of Directors for the Richardson Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Richardson, Prevent Blindness Dallas and the North Dallas Chapter of the National Speakers Association.
